How the Assessment Works
The first step in putting the assessment to use is to identify who will be measured. You can reserve it for your leadership team or implement it across the entire organization. Each participant will respond to a series of statements on a five-point scale. Your EQ will be measured based on where you fit on a scale of four behavioral styles:
Most people are a combination of more than one of the above styles. Through the results, you’ll learn if your personality veers more toward active and questioning, for instance, or thoughtful and accepting.
Putting the Results to Use
The assessment will provide valuable information on how you handle workplace interactions. But to get that value, you’ll need to put it to use. You’ll gain insight into how your personality style shapes your responses to situations. But the assessment goes beyond that, offering exercises that will help you adjust your responses. If, for instance, you tend to be overly critical, you can recognize that as part of your Conscientious personality style and adjust your emotional responses to situations.
Following Up on the Results
Even after you’ve taken the assessment, you’ll have access to a portal that will help you occasionally check in on your progress. You can even have new team members take the assessment and compare your results side by side to get a better understanding of each other’s unique personality styles.
