Project Management Fundamentals Workshop (2-Day Course)

This 2-day workshop covers an introduction to project management. Essentially, the project manager is accountable for the success or failure of a project. Typical responsibilities of a project manager include: Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects — defining the project, building its comprehensive work plan, and managing to the budget. The material in this workshop is intended to benefit the novice project manager as well as to teach additional skills and offer new insights to more experience students. When in doubt…use an Ethical Action Test — Is it legal? Does it comply with our rules and guidelines? Is it in sync with our organizational values? Will I be comfortable and guilt free if I do it? Would I do it to my family or friends? Would I be perfectly okay with someone doing it to me? Would the most ethical person I know do it. This workshop supports up to 20 students and integrates gamification (Classroom Clickers), learning activities, role play, polling, embedded videos, teach-back activities, and experiential learning exercises.
