The Everything DiSC® 363 for Leaders Assessment is specifically designed to help you understand what sets you apart as a leader. By taking the assessment, you’ll get to know more about your own leadership outlook. You can use the information to understand how others see you as a leader and make improvements as needed.
How It Works
As the name implies, the Everything DiSC® 363 for Leaders Assessment starts by having you rate yourself in a wide range of areas using an online testing tool. Your team members will complete a separate assessment to help you get the total picture. At the end of it, you’ll get a detailed report that describes your strengths and recommends areas for improvement.
The assessment uses a framework called Eight Approaches to Effective Leadership, which are as follows:
These leadership approaches vary from encouraging team members to come up with ideas to a take-charge style that inspires and motivates. After taking the assessment, you’ll be given a report that includes a graph. The shape of the graph shows you where your leadership style falls.
Raters Versus Self-Rating
One of the most useful features of the Everything DiSC® 363 for Leaders Assessment is the contrast it provides between your own self-rating and the rating your team gives you. This helps you see the difference between how you see your own leadership style and how others see it. The information can be very enlightening. You’ll get a graph that compares where you put yourself on the eight approaches and where your team rates you.
But the report doesn’t stop there. You’ll get a detailed view of how you were rated on each approach, as well as a list, in order, of your leadership strengths. Woven throughout are comments from your team that will help you see where you can possibly do a little better as you continue in your role.
